Some renowned tiger reserves in India are as follows :- 

1) Jim Corbett National Park (Uttarakhand):

Established: 1936
Named After: Jim Corbett, a renowned hunter and conservationist.

2) Bandipur National Park (Karnataka):

Established: 1974
Notable for: Project Tiger was launched here in 1973.

3) Kanha Tiger Reserve (Madhya Pradesh):

Established: 1974
Area: 1,949 square kilometers

4) Periyar Tiger Reserve (Kerala):

Established: 1982
Unique Feature: Home to the rare lion-tailed macaque.

5) Sundarbans National Park (West Bengal):

Established: 1984
Special Feature: Largest mangrove forest in the world.

6) Sariska Tiger Reserve (Rajasthan):

Established: 1978
Notable for: Successful relocation of tigers from Ranthambhore.

7) Nagarhole National Park (Karnataka):

Established: 1988
Also Known As: Rajiv Gandhi National Park.

8) Satpura Tiger Reserve (Madhya Pradesh):

9) Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary (Karnataka):

Notable for: Diverse flora and fauna.

10) Pench Tiger Reserve (Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra):

Established: 1992
Named After: Pench River flowing through the park.

11) Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (Maharashtra):

Established: 1993
Landscape: Mixed deciduous forests.

12) Bandhavgarh National Park (Madhya Pradesh):

Established: 1968
Famous for: High density of Royal Bengal Tigers.

13)Simlipal National Park (Odisha):

Established: 1980
Unique Feature: Part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

14) Indravati National Park (Chhattisgarh):

Established: 1982
Habitat: Rich biodiversity with mixed deciduous forests.

15)Valmiki National Park (Bihar):

Established: 1990
Location: Bihar's only tiger reserve.

16) Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (Uttar Pradesh):

Established: 1987
Notable for: Presence of the barasingha (swamp deer).

17)Buxa Tiger Reserve (West Bengal):

Established: 1983
Location: In the Buxa Hills along the international border with Bhutan.

18) Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve (Tamil Nadu):

Established: 1988
Landscape: Southern Western Ghats.

19) Anamalai Tiger Reserve (Tamil Nadu):

Established: 2007
Biodiversity: Rich in flora and fauna.

20)Achanakmar Tiger Reserve (Chhattisgarh):

Established: 2009
Location: Part of the Hasdeo-Arand coalfield region.

These are some of the prominent tiger reserves in India, each contributing significantly to the conservation of this iconic species.
